\nTenants’ rights and the Landlord and Tenant Board<\/p>\n

DESCRIPTION<\/strong>
\n\u2192 This workshop explores tenants’ rights and obligations before and after the start of the lease and covers topics such as discrimination, security deposits, pets, and lease agreements. After the lease comes into effect, the workshop covers tenant insurance, maintenance and repairs, peaceful enjoyment of the dwelling, rent payment, and eviction procedures. Finally, it presents the role of the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) and explains how to file a complaint against a landlord.<\/p>\n
