The Legal Information Centre of Ontario, in partnership with  Immigrant Women Services Ottawa/ Services pour femmes immigrantes d’Ottawa invites you to an online legal information workshop in French on January 27, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

TOPIC
Tenants’ rights and the Landlord and Tenant Board

DESCRIPTION
→ This workshop explores tenants’ rights and obligations before and after the start of the lease and covers topics such as discrimination, security deposits, pets, and lease agreements. After the lease comes into effect, the workshop covers tenant insurance, maintenance and repairs, peaceful enjoyment of the dwelling, rent payment, and eviction procedures. Finally, it presents the role of the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB) and explains how to file a complaint against a landlord.
