The AJEFO, its staff, and its directors cannot be held responsible for any damages claimed to have resulted from use of the centreinfojuridique.ca website or their services.

This website is not intended to provide legal advice and in no way replaces the services of a lawyer. Rather, centreinfojuridique.ca is intended to provide legal information, resources, and tools to the population of Ontario.

Content on the centreinfojuridique.ca website, including but not limited to the sections book an appointment, our resources, address book, events, our newsletter as well as the various services offered may in no way be interpreted as:

  • a legal opinion or legal advice;
  • a recommendation as to a course of action;
  • an answer to a specific situation.

Legal Information Requests

The AJEFO does not answer legal questions or other inquiries sent by email to [email protected]. The AJEFO reserves the right to not respond to legal information requests that do not fall within the Ontario Legal Information Centre’s mandate or that are incompatible with its mission statement.

Confidentiality

The personal information you send to the AJEFO by email will remain confidential unless you give consent for it to be used for other purposes.

It should be noted that e-mails sent to the AJEFO are not protected by solicitor-client privilege.

If the AJEFO consents to the use of content published on the site, the AJEFO will conclude a signed agreement between the parties.

The specific terms and conditions of use will be set out in this agreement. The person responsible for the use of content must always ensure:

  • the accuracy of the reproduced content;
  • credit to the AJEFO as the source must clearly be identified;
  • the content is maintained in its entirety, including updates.

All use of centreinfojuridique.ca is governed by, and shall be interpreted in accordance with, the federal and provincial laws in the Province of Ontario, Canada. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the province of Ontario in any proceeding related to centreinfojuridique.ca or the AJEFO.
